Abstract Courtesy exists everywhere。 Courtesy languages are the significant part of cultures。 Therefore, different countries have different courtesy principles。 At the beginning, this paper introduces principles of courtesy。 By referring to different principles of Chinese and Western courtesy languages, the paper makes a comparison between them to clarify the causes and countermeasures of the differences。 A comparative study of the similarities and differences of the courtesy maxims indicates the essence of Western and Chinese cultures。 Therefore, the study of this subject can contribute to helping people to use the language politely and avoiding the cultural conflicts。 Finally, the paper aims at assisting readers to have a comprehension and master of cultural difference and have intercultural communication in a right way instead of making mistakes。94102

摘要礼貌无处不在。礼貌用语是文化的重要组成部分。不同国家有不同的礼貌原则。本篇论文在开始部分介绍礼貌准则。根据中西方礼貌用语的不同原则，对其做了对比分析，阐明了中西方礼貌用语差异的原因和对策。通过对中西方礼貌准则差异性和相似性的研究，表现出中西方文化的精髓。所以，研究该课题可以帮助人们礼貌的使用语言，从而避免文化冲突。最后，该论文旨在帮助读者理解并掌握文化差异，正确的与人交往，避免犯错。

1。 Introduction 

Communication is becoming more frequent because of the development of society。 Now, we are in a multicultural world。 The difference of language and the difference of culture have effects on us。 When we communicate with people from another culture, we are not only affected by the difference of language, but also disturbed by the difference of culture。 Different people have different understanding about the courtesy, and they deal with courtesy in different ways。 What can be difficult, however, is to understand how to communicate effectively with inpiduals who speak another language, or who rely on different means to reach a common goal。 We must all learn how to better communicate with inpiduals and groups whose first language, or language of choice, does not match our own。 However, some learning the basics about culture and at least something about the language of communication in different countries is important。 This is necessary even for the basic level of understanding required to engage in appropriate greetings and physical contact, which can be a tricky area inter-culturally。 Courtesy language, as a part of language, is no doubt a reflection of culture。 It is an indispensable part in the daily life。 Courtesy language determines the success of the communication。 To enable a friendly communication, we should fix our attention on courtesy, which is very important in intercultural communication。 Otherwise, it may cause disagreement and lead to failures in communication。论文网 浅析跨文化交际中中西方礼貌用语的差异性:http://www.youerw.com/yingyu/lunwen_202073.html
