本文通过与服务外包强国之间的比较，分析了上海发展服务外包产业的可行性，结合上海市在发展服务外包方面存在的比较优势和劣势，通过SWOT分析提出了上海发展服务外包产业的基本策略，试图找出一条适合上海服务外包产业发展的新路径。

近年来，服务外包已经成为上海现代服务业发展中一个新业态。发展服务外包产业能使上海加快与世界经济接轨的速度，同时也是建设国际化大都市的战略选择。服务业高度发达是目前世界经济发展的主流，在制造业趋于饱和的情况下，承接国际服务外包是上海发展现代化服务业的重要途径。发展服务外包产业还可优化上海的产业结构，加快产业升级。
