摘要：课外阅读是指学生在课外的各种独立的阅读活动。它是课外语文活动中最重要的内容，是语文课内教学的延伸和扩展，是阅读能力训练必不可少的组成部分，也是培养学生语文素养的主要阵地，有助于培养学生各方面的能力。根据问卷调查可以发现，目前，初中生的阅读兴趣、阅读习惯、阅读方法掌握、阅读量的积累等的实际状况与语文课程标准的要求相距甚远。特别是随着语文新课标的提出，学生的课外阅读已经成为语文教育关注的一个焦点问题。搞好初中生的课外阅读教学，对于初中生的语文学习作用巨大，意义深远。本文针对当前初中生课外阅读并不乐观的现状，通过对这种现状的成因分析，提出一些切实可行的策略和建议，以期促进初中生课外阅读水平及能力的逐步提高。25108
