总体设计上结合了适当的坡地地形，以此来营造不同的视线风景，丰富公园的观赏性；于公园外围形成漫步道，给市民创造一个既可以健身放松又可以欣赏美景的区域。建设社区公园，以满足谁需要与大自然接触，可以更接近自然在其住宅附近的人民的愿望，享受户外活动，这个愿望也给社区景观建设带来了新的思考：今天的社区公园年初，是不再是一个“广场+绿色+健身器材”简单园模式，而是变得更加生态，文化和现代社区公园。注重景观设计与联合国绿地系统行为的和谐，促进邻里。

本文以上海泾南公园为例浅要分析居民需求与社区公园设施的矛盾性研究。论文结合实例分析，提出了社区公园设计需要遵循的调查收集民意、注重时效性和观赏性、遵循可持续发展原则三个方法，并对其未来设计的研究方向进行了讨论。
