3、参与者的运动动机多样化，已经不再是单独满足于身体健康，而是身体与精神方面的共同发展。由于气排球这个项目是一个集体项目，它具有团体性，娱乐性，并且能够激发人们的集体荣誉感，导致了人们对于气排球的认识呈现出多元化的发展。

4、参与者对于气排球这项运动项目的参与积极性比较高。大多数人每周都会有3-4

次的运动次数，并且每次运动时间都会持续1-2小时。5、淮安市气排球场地与器材都相对较少。这是限制气排球在淮安发展的一项主要的原因，场地多数由羽毛球场地，篮球场地等改造而成。但器材大多数由自费购买，一些企业和老年体协也会为老年人们提供气排球，但用完后多数还要回收6、淮安市老年气排球比赛举办的如火如荼。淮安市已经举办过多次市级老年气排球比赛，而且还有代表队曾在省级比赛中获得荣誉。
