生物炭催化过硫酸钠降解刚果红的研究

摘要:本实验利用生物炭催化过硫酸钠降解刚果红。通过批量实验考察了不同生物炭、生物炭粒径、生物炭用量、过硫酸钠浓度、pH对该降解反应的影响,并通过加入羟基自由基抑制剂叔丁醇和硫酸根自由基抑制剂L-组氨酸来确定活性中间产物,从而推测其可能的反应机理。结果表明,生物炭和过硫酸钠具有较好的协同作用。在实验所选的pH范围内,pH=7时更有利于刚果红的去除。在实验所选的生物炭种类中,水稻炭表现出较好的催化效果。在实验所选的生物炭粒径范围内,粒径<200目时催化效果最好。此外,刚果红的去除率与生物炭的用量也有一定的关系,随着生物炭用量的增加,刚果红的去除率逐渐增大,但是随着生物炭用量的增大,生物炭对刚果红的吸附率也变大。刚果红的去除率与过硫酸钠的浓度也有一定的关系,随着过硫酸钠初始浓度的增加,刚果红的去除率逐渐增大,达到一个极大值后基本不变。通过自由基抑制剂加入实验,可推测生物炭的加入促进了过硫酸钠分解产生了硫酸根自由基而不是羟基自由基。27414

Degradation of Congo red by Sodium persulfate Catalyzed  with Biochar catalyst
Abstract: Sodium persulfate catalyzed by biochar was used to degrade Congo red. The effects of particle size of biochar, dosage of biochar, concentrations of sodium persulfate and solution pH on this degradation reaction were investigated through a series of batch experiments. Radical scavengers were also applied in the reaction system to determine which active intermediate was responsible for the efficient degradation of Congo red. The results indicated that the combination of sodium persulfate and biochar exhibited an obvious synergetic role in the removal of Congo red. In the range of chosen pH, the pollutant was most rapidly degraded at pH 7. The particle sizes of biochars affected the degradation of Congo red, the optimal removal of Congo red was realized with biochar particle sizes less than 200 mesh. In addition, dosage of biochar played a positive part in this degradation reaction. The degradation efficiency gradually augmented with the increase of dosage of biochar. But with the increase of dosage of biochar, the adsorption quantity of biochar gradually increased. The removal rate of Congo red had a certain relationship with the concentration of sodium persulfate. The degradation efficiency gradually increased with the increase of the concentration of sodium persulfate, but was constant when sodium persulfate concentration was 1.5 g/L or more. The mechanism investigation demonstrated that biochar promoting the utilization of sodium persulfate enhanced the formation of sulfate radicals (SO4-•) rather than hydroxyl free radicals (•OH).
