摘 要英语阅读是英语学习的一个重要的方面，是学生获取信息的主要途径，在高中英语学习中占据非常重要的地位。英语报刊具有时效性，语言真实性、趣性等特点，是英语阅读教学的绝佳材料，既能丰富课堂教学的资源，又能调动学生学习英语的积极性，培养学生的阅读能力。本篇论文主要探讨怎样将报刊阅读应用到高中英语教学中，并对目前高中英语教学中存在的问题进行讨论并提出相应的建议。阅读英文报刊能够拓宽学生学习英语的渠道，为学生了解世界开启一扇窗，促进高中生阅读能力的全面发展。36683

Abstract English reading is an important aspect of English learning. It is the main way for people to acquire information and plays an important part in English teaching of senior high school. English newspapers have advantages of timeliness, authenticity and interest. They are excellent materials. English reading education can not only enrich classroom teaching resources and arouse the enthusiasm of students’ learning English, but also cultivate students’ reading ability. This passage mainly talks about the strategies of introducing English newspapers into English reading teaching of senior high school, and discusses the problems in the English class of senior high school and then offers corresponding suggestions. Reading English newspapers can easily broaden the channels for students to learn English and open a window for them to understand the whole world so as to promote students’ comprehensive reading ability.

I. Introduction
With the increasingly development of the international communication, English has played an important role in the world stage. As a high-speed developing country, China has attached great importance to English. Reading is also the most important and effective way for English learners to master the complete system knowledge of English as a second language. In 1996, The Ordinary High School English Syllabus put forward that according to the law of language learning, students who want to gain the ability to use English must absorb a considerable amount of language materials and have a certain amount of language practice. With the development of the times, the contact between nations become increasingly close, so our demand for English talents is also growing fast. And English reading is an essential part of English comprehensive ability test, it is quite important for high school students to learn English.
