摘要婚礼作为文化的一个有机组成部分，也是一个人一生中最为重要的仪式之一，它在中西方不同文化的熏陶下也逐渐的呈现出了不同的婚俗习惯，因而这些差异也明显的体现着中西方文化的不同。由于全球融合趋势的影响，许多分歧阻碍了人们的交流与融合，因此我们必须首先了解不同的文化，然后才能找到解答。本文旨在对中西方婚礼的举行地点、服饰、色调、形式等方面的差异进行比较，并对造成差异的原因进行分析以及理性看待中西方婚礼文化的融合，达到对中西方婚礼文化更好地理解。21903

Abstract
Wedding, as an essential part of culture, is also one of the most important ceremonies in one’s life. It gradually displays different wedding customs under the distinctive cultures between China and the west, in the meantime, these differences obviously reflect Chinese and western cultural variation. As we all know, the trend of globalization becomes shaper today, and the globalization is important to our country’s economy, development and people’s life level. But these differences prevent the globalization and people’s communication and mixture, so we must understand the different cultures first, then we can find the solutions. This paper aims at contrasting the differences in wedding places, wedding dresses, colors, wedding forms in China and the west, analyzing the causes leading to the variation and looking at Chinese and western wedding cultural fusion rationally so as to better understand Chinese and western wedding cultures.

The Comparison between Chinese and Western Wedding Culture
I. Introduction
Since ancient times, marriage has been the first human relation. Marriage culture is an important part of national culture. With the development of society and the impact of globalization, the wedding culture is always changing. Through the intricate and beautiful wedding, we can get a clear understanding of the human society and explore the development of human society’s basic laws. Wedding is a romantic and comfortable noun, a gate that lovers step in marriage, a symbol of setting up conjugal relationship. Wedding is also a beginning for husband and wife to inspire, support and guard each other from that time on. Therefore, all kinds of beautiful wishes become meaningful and precious on such an unusual day. Certainly, various wedding customs are endowed with specific meanings. As a result of Chinese and western cultural differences, the ceremonies and customs in wedding gradually become different as time goes by. At the same time, globalization and mixture between Chinese and western wedding customs in some aspects leading to the exist of wedding variations. Many authority scholars have done a lot of researches on wedding culture. Trans-Culture human relations scholar Dodd gives more systematic and the convincing exploration regarding the Trans-Culture marriage as the Trans-Culture human relations’ breach, and he realized that in the Trans-Culture marriage exists the cultural related phenomenon and the role. Chinese writer Bao Zonghao studied and analyzed wedding customs and Chinese traditional culture and mainly introduced “different wedding customs among nationalities in wedding dresses, wedding ceremony, wedding places” and so on(119).
