小型化双频微带耦合器设计

摘要微带耦合器是一种广泛应用于无线通信系统中的微波无源器件,耦合器的双频工作和小型化是其重要的研究方向。本文基于微带技术加载贴片的传统单频耦合器,对双频和小型化的实现方法进行了深入研究,设计了具有平面结构的小型化双频微带耦合器,具体研究内容包括:78811

1。采用在矩形贴片混合耦合器上加载开路短截线的结构,设计了具有双频工作性能的微带耦合器。通过改变耦合器的尺寸研究了两个频带的调协相关性,可以实现任意频率比。仿真和测试结果表明该设计可以在较宽频带范围内获得良好的频率响应和正交相位特性。

2。利用互补开口环谐振器(CSRR)加载到扇形贴片微带混合环上,实现混合环的双频工作和尺寸小型化。对扇形贴片的尺寸和CSRR位置参数进行仿真分析,表明可以通过控制物理尺寸参数改变混合环的性能以实现不同应用。仿真和测试结果表明设计的混合环具有良好的频率响应和正交相位特性,可以实现任意频率比和任意功率分配比例,且实现了尺寸的小型化。

Title    Design of Miniaturized Dual-Band Microstrip Couplers                       

Abstract The microstrip coupler is one of the microwave passive components that are widely used in wireless communication systems。Dual-band operation and miniaturization of coupler are important research directions now。Based on the conventional microstrip patch loaded coupler,dual-band operation and miniaturized implementations are studied and compact dual-band microstrip couplers with a planar structure are designed, the specific contents include:

1。 Based on conventional single-frequency coupler structure, four open stubs are loaded onto rectangular patch hybrid coupler to realize dual band operation。 Then the relationship of two harmonic bands is studied and it is able to operate at two arbitrary bands。 The simulation and test results show that the design can obtain good frequency response and a quadrature phase characteristics within wide frequency band range。

2。 Complementary split ring resonator (CSRR) is introduced and loaded onto each sector of the patch hybrid ring coupler in order to achieve dual-band operation in the second design。 Hybrid couplers with CSRR and without CSRR are compared to explain the effect of CSRR on the coupler performance。 Then the scan of dimensional parameters demonstrate specific effects of each dimensions on the circuit, the simulation results show that the performance of the hybrid ring coupler such as operating at two arbitrary frequency can be controlled by the value of physical dimensions。 Thirdly, a set of ring coupler dimensions with better frequency response are chosen to complete the design, the simulation and test results show its flexibility in realizing arbitrary power pision ratios over two different bands with arbitrary frequency ratio and it has a size advantage of miniaturization。
