摘要随着现代无线通信技术的快速发展,新一代的通信设备和成像雷达需要更大的带宽来传输高速数据和高质量的图像。很多时候,这些系统还必须工作在高功率,这就要求天线具有宽频带甚至超宽带的特性及高增益。传统的宽带阵列天线发展取得了丰硕的成果,但是仍然存在着一些不可避免的缺点和局限性。如天线单元带宽难以进一步拓展,天线阵列的横向尺寸较大等。对此,本文介绍了近年来提出的一种基于强耦合效应的天线阵列,分析了这种新型天线阵列实现宽带的原理,设计了一种交指型电容结构的强耦合单元,将无限大阵列环境中的单元应用于 1*8元线阵,得到了具有 3 个倍频程的宽带性能;接着设计了一种仅有两个阵元的宽带天线阵与性能良好的馈电巴伦,利用这种两元阵组阵设计了工作频率为 6-18GHz 的2*8 元平面强耦合宽带阵列天线,并通过仿真得到工作频率范围内的阵列增益大于 10dB,有源驻波比小于 2,实现了易于载体共形、小型化的宽带阵列设计的目标。   41521

Title    Study of A Tightly Coupled Antenna Array           
Abstract With the  increasingly  rapid development of modern wireless communication technology, the new generation of communication equipment and imaging radars require wider bandwidth to transmit high rate data and high quality images. Most of the time, these systems have to work at high power, which requires the antenna with broadband and even ultra-wideband and high gain. The development of traditional wideband  antenna array  has achieved fruitful results, but meanwhile, there are  many  inevitable shortcomings and limitations.  For example,  the bandwidth of the antenna element is difficult to be further expanded,  due to mutual coupling of the array elements, and the transversal size of antenna array is often large beyond demands. For this issue, we present the antenna array based on tightly coupled effect which proposed in recent years. In this paper, we analyze the principle of realizing wide band utilizing the model of tightly coupled antenna array. The interdigital capacitor structure of tightly coupled antenna unit is designed,and applied in infinite array environment into a 1*8 linear array. As a result, a 3-octave band is obtained. Furthermore, we designed  a wideband  linear  antenna  array  which  has  only  two  units,  and a balun feeding network is also  shown.  Finally we comprised  a  1  * 8  planar array of tightly coupled dipole elements  with  this  two-unit  structure.  The  antenna  array  operates  at 6-18GHz.  The concept is validated by simulations.  The simulated  result demonstrates  that a  10dB  array gain can be easily achieved and  active VSWR is less than 2  over the operation frequency range.  Thus we realized the  design  of wideband, easy to conform and miniaturization antenna array.
