This assessment can be pided these kinds: student self-assessment, student peer-assessment and teacher-assessment。

The student self-assessment is very easy to understand。 Self-assessment is any assessment that requires learners to judge their own language abilities or performance against a set of criteria (Bourke, Poskitt & McAlpine, 1997; Brown, 1998) 

It’s mainly for the evaluation and understanding of students’ learning strategies, degree of efforts and learning effect and the relationship between them。 The evaluation of students’ learning process is an important way to increase their learning capabilities and form the sense of learning responsibility, form a unique and effective study method。 The teachers can evaluate students’ ability of four skills ——listening, speaking, reading and writing, and the progress of  a period of English learning。 Also, students can evaluate teachers’ shortcoming in teaching process。
