It is important to make the news report more effective by using vague language in the news reporting。 In particular, news writers should pay attention to the use of vague language to mitigate the conflict between subjective and objective and improve the competitiveness of news reporting。 At the same time, we shouldn't ignore the shortcomings of the vague language, we can only use it correctly, and the language of vague language can be better used。

2。 Literature Review

Journalism is one of the most important channels for understanding the latest social practices and trends。 The language used in news reports can be called the news language。 And the news language is specific, accurate and concise。 The objective is to report objective facts and provide timely, accurate and succinct information。 As a result, the use of obscure language in news reports needs to be about the purpose of the news language。 Is the use of vague languages in news reports correct or not, and how does this affect the effectiveness of news coverage? The answer must be based on the fuzzy linguistic phenomenon in the actual news report。

2。1The concept of vague language文献综述

There is a pervasive linguistic ambiguity in our daily lives。 For instance: A: what is the time? B: About 5 PM。 B's answer, although not accurate to minutes seconds, but A has got the information he wants。 In real life, we often use vague language to express our meaning。 Not only is the process vague, the results are vague。 As the famous American linguist Eric Partridge said, the (ideal language) ideal state is quite clear, precise, no ambiguity 。。。 。。。 for a general wisdom and knowledge of the language people will only get the only meaning 。。。 But this state is recognized as almost impossible to achieve。 In fact, the original concept of "fuzziness" comes from L。A。 Zadeh's book "Information and Control", "Fuzzy Set", which was published in 1965 and applied to mathematics, logic and philosophy。 Then, linguists found in human language also exist in the vague language phenomenon。 From this, fuzzy concepts are being taken seriously by researchers in linguistics。 However, the exact concept of vague language is put forward by the pioneer of the American pragmatism and semiotics, the world-renowned philosopher Pierce。 He thinks that when speakers think about these states, they should consider several possible states。 But in fact, what we're not sure is exactly what the states are specifically about。 What is their certain meaning? We need to process the words to understand what these states really mean。 At this point, we call it fuzziness。 This is not because of the uncertainty of the states themselves, but because the language spoken by the speaker is a vague language。 Vague language refers to the speaker in the uncertainty of whether the facts were established under the conditions of the speech。
