一、中国传统文化的理解
一提到中国传统文化许多人都会想到汉服、书法、祥云、古典园林等等文化元素，这些元素的图案、文化、艺术表现形式、建筑等具有地域性、民族性和传承性的特点，是中华民族优秀的文化传统，代表着中国文化的精神。
那么，如何理解“文化”呢？有思想的文化才是有灵魂的文化，文化是人们生活的反映，人类历史的记录，是人们对生活的要求和愿望，是人们认识自然，思考人生，精神寄托的框架，是人们形成思文、借助形式、采取方法来征服自然、谋取物质财富；是人们为了满足自身的多种需要而创造的艺术享受和生活情趣。
    我国著名的文化大师、国学大家南怀瑾先生说，中国文化“开始像一朵花一样，长出来是自由的，是做人行为的目标，从普通人的行为道德到追究生命最根本的问题，从政治文化的基本到最高理想，从普通生活到哲学、科学、宗教合一，追求宇宙生命的根本问题。”
中国的传统文化在艺术表现形式上，可以说是内敛、含蓄的，但同时也是博大精深的，中国传统的文化元素可以表现出人文思想，它所追求的和谐和含蓄与中国传统的自然、人文思想分不开的，体现了中华民族的审美观，也体现了中华民族的精神。
二、透过古城景观体会中国传统文化
