论文主要从语法角度研究科技英语中的歧义现象。以中科院科技期刊获取平台（CAS-OAJ）上10年6月到10年9月刊登的50篇英文科技论文为语料，在其中寻找语言的歧义性现象，并筛选出由语法原因产生的歧义例句，同时将对这些歧义现象从语法角度语法归为否定歧义，修辞语与中心词歧义，副词歧义，先行词歧义，省略歧义，并提出了从调整语序，改写句子，补充省略部分等方法来避免和消除歧义，以期对人们的日常交流和国际间技术合作有所借鉴意义。6634

Title Syntactical Analysis of the Ambiguity in Technical English
Abstract
In this paper, we mainly make some syntactical analysis of the ambiguity in technical English. 50 sheets of scientific paper in English from June 2010 to September 2010 on the Chinese Academy of Sciences Science and technology periodical acquisition platform (CAS-OAJ) are taken as the corpus. All the ambiguous examples are selected from the corpus，and from which syntactical ambiguity are studies further. Syntactically, the ambiguity will be classified into negative ambiguity, adverb ambiguity, antecedent ambiguity, and ellipsis ambiguity. Moreover, it is aimed at exploring ways to avoid and eliminate the ambiguity, including adjusting the order of the words, rewriting the sentence, making up the omitted parts. This paper can provide referential significance to people's daily communication and international technical cooperation.

1 Introduction
Ambiguity is a common language phenomenon which usually occurs in pronunciation, vocabulary, grammar, pragmatic levels. In English, ambiguous sentences often bring people difficulty in accurate understanding, which results in some communication barriers. Technical English has the characteristics of flexible and changeable structures, complex sentences, much acronym. With the development of global economy, the accurate expressing and understanding of technical English become more and more important. So the ambiguity in technical English requires a lot of studies.
1.1 Technical English
Technical English means the English we use in science books, papers, textbooks, science and technology reports and academic lectures for science and technology in the natural science and engineering technology. Qiang Sanqiang pointed out "Technical English in many countries has become a specialized new field in modern English." (Niu Manshan 2010 http//:baike.baidu.com/view/2153883.htm) With the development of science and technology and the global economy, technical English becomes more and more important.
As an English style, technical English has become an important means of exchanging information with foreign counterparts. Unlike other different styles, technical English is mainly about the laws, rules and concepts.
