2。1。1Theme

Feminism: Early comments suggest that the world she describes is too limited, but a simple and true description of everyday life。 Until 1900s, with the vigorous development of the feminist movement, more and more critics argued that Austin was a rebel feminist writer who criticized the society at that time, and her theme was to expose the oppression and discrimination suffered by women in patriarchal society。 In 1932, Rebecca West in the novel preface praise Jane is "very feminist consciousness" writer, her "strong emotions and bold ideas" paid to a woman's social status of the discussion。

The author's well-crafted Elizabeth image is different。 She has a bisexual temperament, the formation of bisexual personality and in an attempt to establish a dual gender role。 She did not want to spend time on the practice of talent and do not want to please men。 She believes that women should also read more books and have long experience。 It is clear that Austen is standing at the point of view of man, not gender, that women are born and intellectually well developed and rational, have strong adaptability, and thus be able to control their own lives。 This performance refuting the feminine stupid clumsy, low intelligence, can only serve as a secondary role in the traditional prejudice。文献综述
