Abstract
With the increasing globalization, the interaction between different culture is on the increase ,which helps to form a unified part . The Chinese XHYs is a unique language phenomenon in Chinese culture. Characterized by their jocosity, sarcasm and humorous sense, XHYs are quite popular with the Chinese people. Guided by the intercultural communication theory. The paper cites some examples as a reference to discuss the characteristics of XHYs form and expression, it further reveals the features of intercultural communication, aiming to explore the cross-communication validity.

I. Introduction

As we all know, intercultural communication is a process of translation from one language into another language. The people have the similar human language, which is the foundation of translation. However, owing to the different culture, different geography, religion and philosophy, special life modes and so on, So ,the translation methods have its own distinctive features. And the impacts on translation are mostly originated from different culture. Though most of people think the culture is not a big problem in translation, It will become the obstacle of translation. Because, the different culture are the main reasons in xiehouyu translation. In recent years, some scholars are clearly aware of the great influence of cultural differences on translation and try to find the best answers to achieve an ideal result. Besides, language, as the carrier of culture, is a tool of communication to convey the message. So, it is necessary to know the background of the culture.
Under such circumstances, the translation between Chinese and English is very necessary in the process of intercultural communication. So we have the need to analyze and explore the different methods in xiehouyu translation. It not only can enrich our experience, but also can appreciate the excellent western culture. What’s more, it could have a mutual understanding of the culture and thought between China and western countries, thus they can respect each other’s customs and habits.
